The Heart Behind Vela Event Design

I'm Brittany, the founder of Vela Event Design. I bring a calm, organized approach to wedding planning, pairing thoughtful detail with polished execution. With a background in large-scale event production, I help couples feel confident, cared for, and supported throughout the planning process.

My path into this work grew from a love of beautiful details, thoughtful experiences, and helping people feel supported during life's most meaningful moments. I've always been drawn to the balance of creativity and structure — holding the larger vision while paying close attention to the details that allow everything to feel seamless.

Going through my own engagement and wedding deepened that even further. It reminded me how special this season is, and how much couples deserve to enjoy it with the right support in place. That experience shaped the heart behind my work and the kind of experience I hope to create for every couple I serve.

My goal is to offer a planning experience that feels thoughtful, steady, and beautifully cared for — so couples can feel more present, more supported, and more able to enjoy the celebration itself.
